A: Palm Aire is located just north of border between Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach. It spans from Powerline Road to Lyons Road and from Cypress Creek Road all the way to Atlantic Boulevard. It covers about 1,500 acres of land in the heart of South Florida. Palm Aire is 5 miles from the beach and it has easy access to both major highways, so you never have to drive long to get to where you want to be. Downtown Fort Lauderdale and the airport are less than a half an hour away. It takes just as long to get to Boca Raton or Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise. Q: I know Palm Aire has 4 golf courses, am I required to "buy" into them?
A: No, Palm Aire is a public golf course. That means that any one can use them and that it is not owned and maintained using funds from the residents of Palm Aire. Q: Does Palm Aire allow small pets?
A: Certain parts of Palm Aire do allow homeowners to have small domestic animals such as cats and dogs. Pets like birds, fish, and reptiles are permitted. Sections that allow dogs are: Cypress Reach, Royal Point, Cypress Grove, Misty Oaks, Vizcaya, & Fairview Pointe. There are no restrictions for any of the single family homes. Q: How do the minimum mortgage amounts work?
A: Several condominium associations within Palm Aire require a minimum downpayment against a mortgage in order to get condo approval. Of the ones that do require it most of them want 20% down, some only want 10%. The following buildings do not require a minimum downpayment - Buildings: 37, 52, 53, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 67, 68, 76, 79, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, & Royal Point. A: Several condo associations do, although most buildings do not allow you to rent within the first 12 months of ownership. Contact us for a current list of buildings that allow immediate renting. Every building allows rentals after the first 12 months period. Q: Are there other rental restrictions if I own?
